Such beautiful majolica asparagus plates with a stem of pink 'coeur de Marie'  (Mary's heart) 'bleeding heart' , the raised detailing of the decoration, the embossed areas and fluted edges set these apart as the special pieces they are.
 
Three asparagus spears separate the areas for the asparagus and dipping sauces.
 
The plates are made by St Clemants and signed on the reverse. They are 9" in diameter.
 
They are in great vintage condition and useable as well as being perfect for display and are being sold either as a pair or individually.
