If you are a lover of patina then this sauce boat or saucière is awonderful piece. Made byHB&C  Choisy le Roi in the 19th century.
 
It has crazing and staining over the bowl and the attached saucer, the lid has some light crazing but is not stained as it was not in contact with thehot sauce.
 
It also makes a great vase, I love to use these on mantles due to their long thin shape.
 
It measures 9.5" long by 5.5" wide and 6" high
