A  truly fabulous and rare French antique, this baroque styled treasure  would have graced Madame's boudoir table and held her most precious treasures.
Opulantly decorated and gilded,  it stands firm on its elegantly shaped cabriole legs,  bow fronted and ornately decorated with a definite floral flourish.

Created as a faux mini chest of drawers. The lid opens to reveal the original silvery blue silk cushion.

In good condition for its age, the cushion is threadbare but holds together, it is unusual to find the original cushion in these pieces. Also there is a small crack on the right hand side. This is not structural or particularly apparent from the outside. At the back there is a hole (created at manufacture) I am not sure what this was for, unless some sort of locking system?
It measures 4" 10cm high by 4.5" 11cm wide by 9cm 3.5" deep. All measurements approximate.
