Pretty creamy ironstone lidded pots which were bought with conserves inside, to be used in the home afterwards. They have lovely traditional French scenes on them amd floral decorations on the lids.

Perfect for displays or for storing bits and bobs, maybe on a dressing table in your French style boudoir.

One has a small chip on the underside of the handle, and a tiny chip on the top edge of the pot, where it touches the lid, the other has two similar chips, as pictured. There are small areas of crazing as you would expect of a pot of this age. They are not hugely apparent when the lid is on and this has been accounted for in the price, which is for both beautiful pots.

They measure 10cm or 4" tall and 9cm 3.5" wide at the base.

All Quintessentially French items are vintage or antique; they are old and characterful and show wear consistent with their age and from being used. To most people, this is the quintessence of their charm.
