Quintessentially Wedgewood, the beautiful blue and white Jasperware, first made in the 1770s it is characterised by the, classically blue unglazed bisque or biscuit finish.
The round plates measure 4.5" diameter whereas the diamond shape is 5.5" by 4.5". As well as the romantic classical goddesses, included in the collection are Edinburgh Castle and the Queen Elizabeth for her silver jubilee. This is a darker shade of blue.
They bear the Wedgewood stamp on the back.
