The absolutely Quintessentially French kitchen essential; enamel canisters for holding kitchen staples close at hand. This fine set dates from around the 1920s.
 
A full set of 6, these are particularly attractive in white enamel with gold highlights and gold ornate lettering.
 
They have an attractive ridged shape which makes them easy to grasp and use in a kitchen, however they have been well used over many years and have the expected chips to the enamel, especially around the edges.
 
The gold lettering and decorative rings are worn through handling and washing, all this gives the giving the desirable antique timeworn air. They remain solid as they are of a good weight, they are quality French kitchenalia.
 
They can be used decoratively, or used in your kitchen. I have a similar set which I use with a sealed bag inside as they are not, and have never been air tight.
