Bronzed bust of the Virgin Mary on a marble base with a fabulous patina and verdigris built up over many years.  Signed 'Bercoude' on the side. It is delicately cast, I particularly like the detail of her hair. 
The bust is heavy and appears to be solid and therefore of good quality. The metal is probably spelter as there are a couple of scratches on the back which show silver. 
She has been cleaned with a soft cloth but no more, this leaves you the choice of cleaning and polishing or keeping her as is. 
The statue stands 16.5cm / 6.5" tall. 
The bust will be sent collisimo instead of economy.
