Traditional rustic French confit pots, used for preserving cooked meats in salt and lard, before the days of refrigeration.
They have a wide open top, strightish sides and beautiful creamy glaze inside, along with a solid handle for carrying.
They are perfect to use in a French farmhouse style kitchen for storage or display. Perhaps as a cache pot for herbs or plants.
The first pot measures 14cm or 5.5' diameter (not counting the handle) and 12cm or 5.5' tall, the second 5" diameter and just under 4.5" tall.
