A fascinating pair of books, snapshots in time charting British Royal history.
The first edition, 'A Royal Family Picture Annual' is very special as it covers a year in Royal history from August 1951, where Princess Elizabeth ascended the throne to become Queen Elizabeth II as well as the death and funeral of King George VI.
It's photographs are in black and white and there is water damage to the bottom corner of the pages. I feel the historical interest of the photographs and narrative outweigh the book's condition.
The second, dated 1951, is 'An intimate portrait study of Princess Margaret'. It is an interesting read, have you seen 'The Crown'? Full of pictures, some in colour of the Princess as well as other members of the Royal Family. It has some very glamourous pictures.
The dust jacket has some wear and there is slight damage to some pages.
