A beautiful pair of plates, with a sweet blue bird sitting in branches surrounded by flowers. There is a picture of a traditional sailing boat in the middle, as was the charming fashion at this period.
 
The St Amand Hamage backstamp dates them from the end of the 19th century to the early 20th.
 
The plates are in good antique condition, one has a little staining around the more crazed areas and they are both show signs of age and use.
