Sky blue very decorative transferware cup with sweet little birds by French manufacturers Lunéville. The beautiful stamp on the base dates it between 1880 and 1920.
 
The name of the design is 'Dentelle' or lace in English and it depicts a country house or château garden with a trallis and floral pattern around the rim inside and out.
 
It is in very good condition for its age, there are areas of wear to the pattern and a slight roughness to the rim when you run your finger around it. There are a couple of the tiniest nibbles on the base.
 
The cup is just over 2" tall.
