Beautiful French antique cups are so hard to find at the moment, so I was delighted to find this rare polychromatic hand finished transferware hot chocolate cup for you.
 
Made by collectible manufacturer Creil et Montereau between the mid to late 1800s it is large, 4 3/4" diameter and has the most beautiful floral pattern with a hand coloured soft red flower on one side and a blue on the other.
 
The handle is delightfully shaped and hand embelished. 
 
The inside particularly has age crazing, it has a small hairline inside from the rim has an uneavenness when yourun your finger around it, maybe from manuracture.
