From Paris, an absolutely breathtaking 19th century rosary with very large mother of pearl beads.  It is difficult to fully do justice to its beauty in words, it is truly a remarkable antique piece of heirloom quality. 
 
The five decades of beads have a great depth of their pearlescence which is only found in old beads, polshed by the touch of hand in prayer over many years.
 
The silver cross is very detailed with charming hearts on the end. The medal is a double sided face with exquisite detail, also in silver.
 
The Cross measures 1.5" by 1". The medal is just over .5" long. The larger 'decade' beads are nearly .5" in diameter. The chain is double thickness and strong. Its drop is 18". There is the wear that would be expected from age and use, but this has been treasured and cared for.
