Used by the foremost French chocolatiers in the 19th century, these are the best quality and most desirable moulds for collectors. Each is a delightful pattern and still useable today.

 

They are all stamped with their identification catalogue number and are made from thick, heavy tinned iron.

 

Letang moulds were praised from their inception in 1832, exhibited at the Paris Exhibitions and bought worldwide. The Temple moulds date from 1891 onwards.

 

The moulds are sold separately and the sizes are as follows:

 

Mould 1, Letang number 1918 makes 10 scalloped rectangular chocolates and measures 5.75" by 2.75" 

 

Mould 2 Letang number 375 makes 12 scalloped round chocolates and measures 7.25" by 2.5"

 

Mould 3 Letang number 1324 makes 10 swirled circle chocolates and measures 6.7" by 3"
