Such a beautiful floral deisgn, lilac flowers cascade and form bouquets around this fine, opaque porcelain teacup and saucer set.
 
The gorgeous design is elevated by the flowing shape and the elevated pattern, in keeping with the design, the handle is off set, making it a very comfortable cup to hold.
 
Stamped on the base of the saucer as Limoges France, this is perfect to display and to use. There are no chips or cracks although some of the dilding has worn through use, although the speckling you can see is a part of the hand applied gilding. This would suggest it dates to pre-war, the first half of the 20th century.
 
The saucer is 5.57" in diameter and the cup stands 2.25" tall.
