This striking design is not only unusual but is photogenic as well as having a great visual appeal, it displays well.
 
This is a complete mold of two halves. It is vintage from the early 20th century and has a few signs of age and use. Mainly the edges are a little wonky. It has a stock number in the rim fromthe old style paper catalogues which businesses would use to order their equipment.
 
These French molds are made tinned steel, in the old way, and are thus older, heavier more solid than the more modern aluminium molds.
 
It is a large size egg at 7" long.
