Love this bold blue and white 1930s French kitchen vibe. 
 
These are a good quality set of sturdy enamel 'épicerie' pots, which every French kitchen would have had to keep the most used supplies close to hand. These would have come stright from the box or sack in the Grocer's shop in papers, so would have needed good storage to keep them fresh.
 
I love the typograpy and the slight imperfections of the patterns, where they would have been sprayed over a stencil by hand in the factory.
 
There are some chips and small areas of rust, particularly on the lids, which would fall and chip the moat often, but this set is in remarkably good condition for their age and use. They are all water tight and useable condition.
