My favourite Felix Potin pot with the answer to why there's a blank circle  in the middle at the front, just under the name. It's for the flavour of confiture, and amazingly the sticker is still on this crock, 'fraise' or strawberry. 
 
This is the first I have seen with the sticker and a lovely piece that tells us its history. 
 
On the base, it has the attractive Luneville stamp and the initials FP for the Felix Potin brand.
 
It has some minor staining, a chip at the rear left side of the rim among other expected signs of wear, the photographs can be enlarged for a closer look. 
 
It measures 5" tall.
