Wonderfully designed antique Badonvilliers water jug with a beautiful form, flowing lines and a rounded shape, in wonderful sky blue; roses on one side and chrysanthemums on the other in an elegant Art Nouveau style. The detailing is charming, with flowers on the lip, underneath and around the rim.
 
The attractive floral stamp on the base, confirms it was made in the end of the 19th century.
 
It is in antique preloved condition, the colour is clear, there is crazing to the glaze, pictured, but the glaze remains shiny, measuring 5" tall and 8" long across the handle. 
 
This ewer displays beautifully and is delightful as a vase.
