An absolute favourite find, a country scene that is so quintessentially French.
 
The spring apple blossom with the cows grazing in the orchard, with  the ploughed field stretching to the woodland in the background. The blue sky and fluffy clouds lift the scene further creating a hopeful and uplifting feeling.
 
The oil on canvas painting is signed A Couteller Mesnil in the bottom left. It is in good condition with some small losses which are not very apparent due to the pattern.
