A beautiful little match striker from France with a useful cup, designed to hold the matches to be struck on the ridges below, but useful to hold a candle (I will clean off the wax!) or indeed some little blooms.
 
It has one little chip on the rim, pictured, you can display it proudly as a sign of age and use or turn to the back.
 
It measures just over 3" tall
