Joining the Prestige Collection, an increasingly hard to source antique pocket watch case dating from the second half of the 1800s.
 
Made of light catching bevelled glass and ormolu, with delightful patina and wear.
 
The red silk cushion is delightfully threadbare and faded from use as it is the original. There is a hook for suspending the watch, or a rosary as I have in the images. 
 
The box has a functioning hinge and clip as well as a handle to lift the box and hook for suspending the watch.
 
It measures 3.5" tall by 2.75" wide and 2.25" deep at the base.
