From the late 1900s, this beautiful St Amand 'Anémone' design wash stand bowl and water jug set are an absolutle treasure. In such a beautiful mid blue floral design.
 
They would have been on the washstand in a lady's boudoir and her maid would have brought warm water each morning for her 'toilette'. 
 
Many were broken from years of being carried up and down stairs, but these are in fabulous condition with some age related crazing and some light marks of useage, I found one tiny chip on the underside of the bowl, which I have tried to photograph as clearly as possible.
 
The bowl is 14" or 25cm across and 4" or 10cm high. The pitcher is approximately 9.5" or 24cm across at its widest and 6" or 15cm tall at the lip.
