In the classic Lustcru blue and white check design, this little tea canister would have been in daily use on a shelf in Madame's kitchen, probably one of a larger set. 
 
It shows all the signs of age and use to make it perfectly patinated. Dating from the 1920s or 30s, it has seen a lot of life! A perfect styling piece for any French inspired home.
 
It measures 4" high and 2.5" wide. There is discolouration from age, marks and rusty patches throughout, there is a larger patch toward the base at the back. The lid opens and closes. It is a lovely timeworn gently aged well used piece of French domestic history.
