Gorgeous vintage confit pot from southern France in hand glazed rich deep chestnut brown. It has the classic shape with two handles, on either side and the ridges around the top.
 
The pot has a 2 cut into the base and minor irregularities where it was imperfectly made. I always like these details which make a pot unique.
