Two Art Nouveau majolica pitchers available as a pair as they look so good together. Both have pink flowers on their green backgrounds and charming detailing and unusual shapes.
They are beautiful quality pitchers, dating from approximately 1890 - 1910 with deep relief-work flowers and decorations, gorgeous hand applied glaze in the same colours in a similar style and very ornate organically shaped handles in a golden wood brown to reflect the natural theme.
Another particularly attractive feature is their unusual shape which makes them the unusual pieces that caught my Quintessentially French eye! The cyclamen pitcher is a rectangular shape, this one has a large chip inside and the other is a rounded diamond shape, this one has a small chip on the rim. Both are pictured clearly, and if you don't want to see the story of their age and use, can be covered easily when in use with fresh or dried flowers.
They are 7.5" tall
