Creamy French ironstone, tea stained, crazed and with hairlines and old chips from use. If this is your style, these are perfect imperfection. The two come together as the pair make a superb display. 
 
They are similar but not the same, one is stamped Digoin Sarraguemines and the other is without a stamp, as was often the case. It has a lovely detailing on the handle that sets it apart.
