A gorgeous and oh so authentic, patinated from age pair of French church candlesticks or prickets dating from the 1800s.
 
They are made of gilded bronze with ridged classical style columns and stand securely on three 'paw' feet. Each of the three sides of the base has a different image in the centre, the Sacred Heart, Mary and Jesus. The gilding is delightfully worn from many years of use and cleaning.
 
They show their story of a life lived, I have gently cleaned, not restored, which I never do, allowing you to receive your antique treasure with its story intact.
