A beautiful small ironstone pink transferware tureen in the Trianon design featuring delightful cherubs and the VersaillesTrianon building, dating from the 1760s under the reign of Louis XV
 
Made by St Amand and stamped on the base, it dates from the the early 1900s . The ironstone is clear and the design bright. There are two small chips to the outer ironstone on one side and there are cracks to the bowl handle from much use over its life, and who would not want to use such a wonderful tureen regularly?
 
The tureen measures 5.75" tall and 9" in diameter and joins the Prestige Collection at Quintessentially French
