This is the first and only example of a Felix Potin Lions head terrine bowl I have seen. Found in Paris, it may have been used in one of the grand Parisian stores in the delicatessen or sold with diner party size pies or pâté servings inside.

The bowl is a yellowy cream colour with a well defined lion's head on each side and Felix Potin stamped on the side and marked FP on the base as well as the maker's stamp for Luneville.

The bowl is glazed stoneware and measures 8.8" in diameter and 4.25" high. There are some minor glaze chops from use on the rim and runs on the lion's heads
