A beautiful holy water font or benitier in French. It is intricately cast with a high level of detail. The statue above the water font is Mary with the infant Jesus and the words Notre Dame du Grâce on the plinth.
 
The font and its surround is in a flowing Baroque style with a charming angel just above the water.
 
The font has been silver plated, with some of the plate having rubbed away from decades of devotion.
 
The font has the original hanging hook on the back and measures just under 10" long.
 
This can be certified as an antique for customs purposes.
