A sweet ormolu jewellery box with a raised floral pattern and a hinged bevelled glass lid. 
 
The creamy silk cushion is original and is gently threadbare, the sign of a beloved and much used treasure, cherished for  many years.
 
The box has some small traces of polish where it has been well cared for.
