St Uze has to have something to make it stand out to be included in Quintessentially French. This petit beauty stopped me in my tracks. 
 
It is gloriously rounded with sweet handles and a delicate floral design. The shape and thickness of both the stoneware, grès, and the glaze suggests an older pot, probably 19th century.  It has deep crazing through out.
