The absolute essential in any French kitchen, these epicerie pots or enamel storage canisters are in the iconic 1920s Lustucru checker design, but very unusually, in mid green.
 
The name of the original contents is written in a flowing script on the front, to be refilled from the free flow bags purchased from the Grocer's shop. There are four pots; for tea, pepper, sugar and flour.
 
The canisters are in good condition with the expected but minor chips. Only one has a chip mark which shows a trace on the inside, pictured. There are no holes and all hold water
