I must admit to loving these harder to find faisselles with their little angled legs , perfect to allow the whey to drain away when making soft French cheese. Perfect for straining berries for breakfast.

 

Hand made with local terracotta, the irregularities of this are a great part of its charm. It is in great condition, with only minor wear around the rim from use in the farmhouse dairy. 

 

The faisselle is 4" or 10cm tall and 4" or 10cm in diameter across the top.
