A gorgeous blue on white ironstone sugar bowl with its lid from the 'Grand Depot' in Paris, established in the Haussmann era in the last quarter of the 19th century by visionary E Bourgeois. It bears his stamp on the base.

The ironstone is on remarkably good condition and the only thing to note that I can find is a small chip on the rim, pictured, and largely concealed by the lid.

The sugar bowl measures 6.5" tall to the top of the handle and 7.5" wide across the side handles.
