Not only is this faisselle in a favourite, these harder to find shape with its three little angled legs, but it has a gorgeous shade of green glaze.
The legs raise the faisselle to allow the whey to drain away when making soft French cheese, which makes it so useful for straining berries for breakfast.
Hand made with local terracotta, the irregularities of this are a great part of its charm. It is in fine condition, with only minor wear around the rim from use in the farmhouse dairy.
The faisselle is 5" or 13cm tall and 5" or 13cm in diameter across the top.
