A striking turn of the 19th century tall majolica vase by the most desirable French majolica  manufacturer, Onnaing.
 
It has an elegant shape, perfect for long stem flowers, and is very characteristic of the Art Nouveau era with its intricate floral lines and stylised natural motifs. This dates it to between approximately 1890 and 1905.
 
The raised dark red / burgundy flowers are embelished with gold highlights, the green of the vase body is graduated which helps accentuate the raised design at the base.
 
The vase overall is in very good antique condition, it has some rubbing to the gilding and light age crazing .
