A wonderfully timeworn ccafé au lait  bowl from Gien, the creamy ironstone is lightly patinated from many year's use in a family and it displays three old worn chips and there is one  small hairline from the rim.
 
The stamp on the base dates it from the end of the 19th century to the start of the 20th .
 
The bowl is for display rather than use and measures 4" tall by 6" in diameter
