Gorgeous little 'sucrier' or lidded sugar bowl in Porcelaine de Paris. The lid has the most gorgeous raised daisy handle which is intact,. There is a small old chip on the corner of the lid, it can be turned to the back, but I have chosen to show it in the first picture as a sign of its age, it is from the 19th century, and its story. 
 
The petit sucrier stands 4" tall 
 
Inside is a firing crack, from time of manufacture, a sign of the processes used in the 1800s. There are tiny nibbles on the rim.
