A gorgeous antique tureen from the 1800s with a charming floral pattern in French ink blue and wonderfully ornate handles, always important!
 
The tureen is made by Choisy le Roi faïencerie and was found in Paris. The stamp on the base dates it from 1878
 
There are minor signs of age and use including some staining, especially on the inside and a small hairline on the edge of the lid.
 
This tureen stands on a low raised foot and measures 8" tall and 13" wide across the handles
