The most collectible part of a dinner service, the important addition to any French diner service; tiny mustard tureen.

Made by Creil et Montereau, and stamped on the base dating it from 1894,  it has a beautiful blue and white pattern on the tureen with a complimentary pattern around the edge of the attached saucer and the lid.

The lid and handles have the ornate moulding of a large soup tureen. There is the light staining and crazing of age and one small chip under the lid.

The mustard tureen measures 4.25" tall and the saucer 5.25" long and 3.5" wide
