A vintage hand carved and signed by the artisan bread board or serving platter in great condition with the words "Donnez-nous notre pain quotiden" from the Lord's prayer, "Give us this day our daily bread"
 
There are some minor cut marks on the board, it would have been used for serving the bread cut in the kitchen or for display, often these boards were hung on the wall to remind the family sitting round the table to be grateful for food.
 
The board measures 14" in diameter is well carved and made from one piece of wood, it is solid with a good weight showing its quality.
