A wonderful souvenir from a pilgrimage to Lourdes. A glass walled ormolu box with its original blue / grey silk cushion and a picture of the miracle of Lourdes on the front.
 
It is additionally embellished with iridescent touches added by hand, very popular from the end of the 1800s to the early 1900s. 
 
It measures 3" by 3" by 3" and is in good antique condition. The feet are a little bent as is always the case with this soft metal and there is wear to the silk cushion from use and a little rust patch from whatever treasure it held.
