A superb golden pheasant plate, walking proudly in all his glorious plumage, with a soft green background and border on the softly fluted plate.
 
Made by Choisy le Roi in the Boulanger era its backstamp dates it from 1878.
 
It is dinner plate size, just under 10" in diameter
