This hand made, rustic Provençal confit pot oozes southern French charm from its tactile texture to the perfectly imperfect hand applied mellow ochre glaze over the clay.
 
Additionally, I adore all the signs of the manufacture;  the spiral clay formation inside, the visible marks of the handle being attached and clay at the base where the pot was wired off the potter's wheel. 
 
It is in very good vintage condition with a couple of small chips on the one side, proudly shown in the first picture as part of its story.
 
This beauty sits well with other rustic French pieces, adding both warmth and charm to your decor.
