Dating from the last half of the 1800s, this beautiful little frame is made of very thick bevelled glass with a oromlu frame, topped with a classic French bow design that clips over the top to hold the picture in place. Inside is a photograph of a girl's first communion, marked as a Parisienne photograph (this was found in Paris)

Being around 150 years old, it has some damage both to the glass, notably in the bottom left corner and to the bow at the top, where one end has a little piece missing, This is reflected in the price. The gilding is worn from polishing over the years too.

The glass measures 6.5" by 4.25"
